The Modular Story
TranSenda designs and develops integrated modular software solutions for emerging organizations engaged in clinical trials. All TranSenda solutions are part of an integrated system – consisting of our underlying process-based platform and our modular applications – called TranSenda Central®.
Modularity is enabled throughout TranSenda Central by the Clinical Trial Process Platform, which is the underlying patent-pending business process management (BPM) platform, containing much of the common functionality utilized by each of TranSenda's solutions. TranSenda's clinical trial applications are collections of modules which are built upon and connected by the common platform, providing complete integration and full compatibility throughout the system. The flexibility of modularly designed applications, combined with the inherently adaptive nature of their process-based platform foundation, allows our clients to purchase only those modules that they need, and then expand as the needs of organizations dynamically change during their studies.

Leveraging our Gold Certified Partnership with Microsoft, TranSenda Central is built on the .NET framework, utilizing Microsoft SQL Server. Web-based by design, TranSenda solutions also leverage open standards and ClinBUS—our patent-pending data interchange technology. This versatile architecture allows applications within our system to integrate with external legacy applications, achieving maximum interoperability for complete end-to-end trial management. TranSenda is also a member of CDISC.
